Book Lovers Book Review

Emily Henry has done it once again! But, who's surprised—of course she did! Book Lovers is a book about book lovers, for book lovers. But it's also a story about sisters, and about falling in love with yourself and the version of yourself you want to be. A powerful, heartwarming, charming romance, this one can only be written by Emily Henry—and every single self-prescribed book lover better pull this one from the shelf and read immediately!  Nora Stephen's life is books—she's read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laid-back dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister, Libby. Which is why she agrees to go to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina, for the month of August when Libby begs for her a sisters' strip away—with visions of a small-town transformation for Nora, who she...

The Love That Split the World Book Review

A harrowing study on love and stories, Emily Henry's debut sparkles. A genre-defying young adult novel that brings into question what existence is, and how we resolve the tension of identity, Natalie's story is both dreamy and heartbreaking, emotional and evocative. The ending of this story especially will cause you to question what is possible, and what can be possible, if only we have the knowledge and belief to make it true. If you want a thought-provoking read that makes you think long after the last page,  The Love That Split the World would be my automatic recommendation.  Emily Henry is a full-time writer, proofreader, and donut connoisseur. She studied creative writing at Hope College and the New York Center for Art & Media Studies, and now spends most of her time in Kentucky. Find her on Twitter @EmilyHenryWrites.
